Hello, anybody there?
*Crickets*
Ok well let me explain where I have been and what I have been up to.
Its hard to even imagine a time when you didn’t have a mobile phone and not just for making phonecalls on it. When I needed a new iPhone I looked at the price and gasped a breath in but then I thought about how much I use the phone. The cost is about the equivalent as a weeklong holiday in Spain perhaps and that is over and done in seven days, I tend to keep my phone for years so on reflection its not a bad investment. That is how I am justifying it anyway!
Thursday 10th October is World Mental Health and Happiness Day. I thought there was no better time to talk about my own mental health and what makes me happy.
Gosh how narcissistic does that title sound?! I don’t mean it to be of course but I have welcomed lots of new followers over the last few months through this blog, instagram and Facebook and thought it would be only right to introduce myself a bit more.
On Saturday myself along with an amazing group of ladies that I have been fortunate enough to have met through the squares of Instagram headed off for the day to Dublin.
We got the Goldliner Express bus down which only cost £17.00 for an open return as it suited better than the train for pick up and drop off locations. Some of the ladies got on in Belfast, Sprucefield and then a few of us got on in Banbridge so it was extremely convenient. We arrived into Dublin’s bus station just shy of 2 hours later after a quick stop at the airport.
September always seems to be the busy month for us and usually runs parallel to December where we have Zannas birthday, all the Christmas festivities, all the activities etc at School with Olivia then of course the big day itself.
I thought I would pop together some of the things that we have been up to lately in a bit of a round up so get ready for plenty of pictures!
If you are on instagram you will have been inundated by posts from local Bloggers that attended an amazing event at Kildare Village recently. I was one of the lucky ones to be invited along with nearly 80 other bloggers to a fantastic event hosted by Kildare Village and arranged by the lovely Cathy Martin owner of CMPR.
Following on from lovely meetings Ive had with several people through the squares of Instagram I decided how I would love for others who maybe where a bit nervous to come along to ‘blogger’ events or attend bigger meet ups to come together in a smaller setting; Hence the Insta meet in Banbridge – my local home town – came together.
At the weekend I was very kindly invited by CMPR to attend a meet up of local bloggers which was hosted by the amazing Eddie Rockets on the Lisburn Road in Belfast. Having never been to Eddie Rockets before I was very excited as it just looks like my kinda place…especially after investigating the milkshakes online…yum!
