It’s no surprise that the majority of kids favour summer break because there is no school, however, one of the downsides of no school is the lack of activities. During the last stretch of August, parents are quickly running out of ideas to entertain, and hoping the weather holds up long enough for the kids to play outside.

Easter is looking a little bit different this year. It falls on the same date of course, Sunday 12th April, but with physical and social distancing recommendations in place all the usual Easter outings and family gathering have been placed on hold. Here are six ideas for celebrating Easter at home and whilst still bringing the fun factor.
With not having the ability to celebrate big events this year, the girls are constantly talking about Christmas but with Halloween parties happening this month we aim to embrace this season. Nursery school has sent home details of their autumnal walks searching for chestnuts and Olivia has been giving us a lesson on the lifecycle of tree leaves through the season so we have decided to embrace it all at home.
I thought I would do a little post in the run up to Mothers day to recommend some business in my local area based in Northern Ireland. I know this will wont apply to anyone not local but a lot of lovely people who follow my blog are not too far away so this should hopefully give you some ideas and how lovely is it also to support a local business right?
