Following on from lovely meetings Ive had with several people through the squares of Instagram I decided how I would love for others who maybe where a bit nervous to come along to ‘blogger’ events or attend bigger meet ups to come together in a smaller setting; Hence the Insta meet in Banbridge – my local home town – came together.

I had this idea probably around Christmas but I want to find somewhere that would be suitable, relaxed and accommodate a group in the evening. After having great customer service in Ground located at Tesco at The Boulevard I spotted on Instagram that a new espresso bar was opening in my local town. This was too good an opportunity to miss so I contacted the company themselves. I love the fact that Ground is  family owed and operated right out of Northern Ireland and I have always had a good customer service experience in all their espresso bars. In my opinion their staff are second to none especially in the new Banbridge Espresso Bar where in the lead up to the event nothing was too much trouble and the staff where equally as excited as I was. What more could you ask for when partnering up with a business?

After I initiated the conversation and got some things in motion I decided whilst I could do this myself I just thought it would be fun to do it with my friend and fellow instagram lady Jenna. It was a good excuse to get together more, drink coffee and more importantly eat buns 🙂  It was win win.

The Instameet was a huge success and I was overwhelmed by the amount of people who turned up to support not only the evening but each other. Like I have previously said; there is life behind the hyperlinks and it can be a great one if you step out of your comfort zone and meet some lovely people.

Here are a few pictures from the evening taken by my lovely sister-in-law Stephanie..

The biggest thank you to all that attended and those that couldn’t come but helped spread the word about it. After some amazing feedback about both the instameet itself and Ground Espresso Banbridge I would definitely love to get another one arranged closer to the festive season, who doesn’t love a christmas coffee ? 🙂
